1. Amangiri, Utah
This resort is a one-of-a-kind oasis in the middle of the desert. It is over 600 acres in the Colorado Plateau.
Amangiri’s website boasts private pools with breathtaking views for all rooms. There are 13 different types of rooms for booking. You can visit their wellness spa to restore and rebalance. Or, you can take a journey through the gorgeous mountains. All meals are included which is an added bonus. There are different dining experiences such as 'Sunset trail', 'Dinner on the rocks' and 'Fireside pavilion'.
For example, the sunset trail experience sets you up in a private spot in the desert where you watch as the sun descends behind the mountains, casting its glow across your view. All while sipping on chilled champagne and nibbling on canapés.
2. Hotel Wailea, Hawaii
This 5-star adults-only sanctuary flaunts a 180-degree ocean view of three Hawaiian Islands. There are mesmerizing mountains near the resort. It's advised to book ahead as there are only 72 suites on the entire 15 acres of ocean view property.
Amenities include free Wifi, access to the pool, hot tub, and private cabanas. House vehicles include Tesla model X and Range Rover Defender for service within the area.
Interested in some unique experiences? You can enjoy treehouse dining, vintage cruising, couples' retreats, aerial silks, surf safaris, tropical mixology, sunset sailing, outrigger canoeing, yoga, and some downtime in the cabanas.
3. Post Ranch Inn, California
Post Ranch Inn is a destination to reconnect and relax with yourself, your partner, and the environment. This is also an adults-only resort (18 years and above) and pets are not allowed.
There are 40 guestrooms and private homes.
All reservations include complimentary breakfast, a minibar offering, and non-alcoholic beverages. You can immerse yourself in nature by taking part in daily yoga, guided nature hikes, garden tours, and whale watching.
4. Little palm island, Florida Keys
This is America’s only private island resort. Therefore, you need to arrive by seaplane or private boat to reach this one-of-a-kind haven.
It's adults-only with thatched-roof bungalows for accommodations. This resort has no telephones or televisions to help you relax within their magnificent surrounding.
Amenities include kayaking, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, seaplane rides, sky diving, encounters with dolphins, eco-tours amongst other activities.
5. Nemacolin (Formerly Nemacolin Woodlands), Pennsylvania
Built across 60+ acres of land, this resort also includes a Trails Hunting Reserve with a Lodge. You can stay at ‘The Chateau’, ‘The Falling Rocks’ or ‘The Lodge’ while visiting Nemacolin. For more seclusion for families, you can choose to stay at ‘The Homes’ or ‘The Estates’. You can choose from 14 different restaurants, bars and lounges for dining options.
